Bio:

Kevin competed for Miami Mock Trial from 2006 to 2010. He was a three-time competitor at the National Championship Tournament, finishing 3rd in 2008, 8th in 2009, and 2nd after a heartbreaking OCS tiebreaker loss in 2010. He also had the pleasure of helping Miami bring home its first Beach Party title during the 2009-10 season. During his time with the program he also had the privilege of being coached by three of Miami's finest: Lawrence Hilton (2006-07), Dan Herron (2007-08), and Dan Haughey (2008-2010). During his senior season, he was one of a number of co-coaches of Miami's baby team that earned a bid to ORCS.

After graduating from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2013, Kevin and his son moved to Greensboro, North Carolina where he is currently a partner at the law firm of Garrett, Walker & Aycoth, practicing in the areas of criminal defense, business, and employment. He remains involved with AMTA and college mock trial to this day, currently coaching at Elon University.
